Torpic Reading-Vol.67-6/17/2012

Dear MEL School's Topic Readers,
Japan's washing machines may be another "Galapagos"?
Today, first time ever, you'll read an article written in Japanese.
Pretty unusual, isn't it. The reason this article is chosen is that it'll show you historical, traditional, natural, technological and habitual background behind different types of washing machines have been used in Europe, America and Japan.
It is sort of eye-opening to learn how differently people used to wash their clothes in those areas how much nature influences people's living styles and habits.
For those who aren't comfortable reading Japanese written article, please enjoy prior volumes of Topic Reading.
For those who wish to read this Japanese-written article, enjoy reading and learning from it!
