China's first aircraft carrier enters service.
It seems to have been planned to be formally commissioned to
People’s Liberation Army just a few days before their National Day and about a couple of week or so before their biggest political
meeting a year, and this case a decade as it’s top leaders are going to change.
However, coincidentally perhaps, it just happened when tensions between China
and some countries around it, most notably Japan, are having fierce disputes
over their maritime territories.
