Each local
community is somehow distinct from others, at least to some extent. If you
compare mega cities like New York or Los Angeles to rural and isolated cities
in the South or Midwest, there seem to be distinctive differences in the
mindset of the people who live there. But how much?
An extensive
online research was conducted to find the variances in personality traits in
860 US cities. The survey results show that some predictable patterns; people in
large cities like New York tend to be emotionally less stable or socially less
agreeable with others than those who live in smaller communities.
