The world has
been experiencing a historic transition of power and influence across the
Pacific Ocean for the last decade.
The U.S. and
China. How significant are these two giants in the world? In fact, these two
countries combined represent 50% of the world military spending, emit 40% of
the greenhouse gasses and generate 36% of the economy. And they are going to
allocate even more budget to strengthen their military forces for the sake of
defense.
With these
increases in military spending, will the world see peaceful solutions or increased
tension in the disputed South China Sea waters?
